Persona 3 FES graphical errors
I seem to be having problems with GSdx and Persona 3 Fes. I get it to fullspeed, but I see graphical errors on every character's head. The problem doesn't show in ZeroGS but it gives me a low frame rate in some areas. So I want to know, is there a way to stop this from happening? Attatched screenshot of said error. |

I used to (as you can see in my PCSX2 video) but after another upgrade, Vista refused to install, so DirectX 10 is not possible anymore. ![]() I'll try different options though and see what happens. EDIT: Haha, yes it worked! Thanks for the help...but now it is going too fast, even on limit mode. EDIT: Nevermind, fixed that also. Thanks again for your help. |

Tenkaichi 3 texture
Hi, I was using for T3 the gsdx 1.4, but force to recognize that the 1.9 for dx10 is incredibly better as i've Vista. I would say that we're close to the perfection. The speed is here in every sequences of the game and i do not O/c my e6600. I've indeed just one pb. Look at the picture. If you can solve that little one, it would be great

Uh oh, something is broken. Thanks to Fadingz, I realized what it was. Dear gabest, in the latest svn, and I think it started at svn 849, stating software rendering threads at any value above 1 will now make the screen flicker in any game. So far, I have tried FFX, Kingdom Hearts, and Disgaea 2. All of them suffer the same fate. Latest stable public beta 0.1.9 works fine. Happens only in software.

little Problem with special effects and flashes
I now use PCSX2 for about 10-12 days and I downloaded various versions of Gsdx and Zero GS - for me GSDx fit better so I want to use it further, it renders objects and figures really award-worthy. But there is that little problem with the light and special effects - till now I have only played Ben10, so I can't tell if it's the same case for other games. Every time I use an attack that has a flash involved, my screen goes blank and for how long depends on the length of the sequence. is gsdx up in arms against 7th generation cards of Nvidia? Mine is a 7900GS The worst case for me is when it's slowly consuming the screen like in picture 1 My Problem looks like this: |

your graphic card is at its limit in the first screen, the other ones are CPU limited. and no it doesn't happen to all games, you should try FFX if you can.

I finally succumed to temptation and tried out Vista again..... Just to see the "performance improvement" on using GSDX...... ![]() But something wierd came up. Then I try out GSDX using the DX10, the screen will black out for 3 seconds and then PCSX2 loads, but it will be nothing but a black screen. (Specifically the PCSX2 window, everything else is fine.) The same happens on software mode as well. But I can hear the PS2 game running nicely. Just no visual though. Extra info : Even if I set the resolution to a full screen one GSDX will not follow it and will still run on a window. Also using DirectX9 works perfectly. Even the full screen. The worse thing is that I do not have any other DX10 compatible games to try.... Anyone experiencing the same thing?

Well, I just installed the official 8.10 Catalyst drivers........ So what's your driver version? Edit : Well, I updates some DirectX files and it now shows..... Same performance... Seems like I'm seriously bottlenecked by my processor... Oh well. Back to Windows XP.

Problem with Monopoly Worldwide where it freezes at intro video (can just skip with patch though) and top half of the screen is shifted to the left. Problem with screen being shifted left was only fixed when I used svn390X3 and put gsdx on software render, it won't even get to the menu with software render on other pcsx2 versions. Also, while using the HW render, it would always crash sometime during the beginning dice rolls (to decide who goes first). Here's what it looks like with hardware render (didn't post with SW render pics cus it looks fine when SW rendered): ![]() ![]()
