there is no patch for it. you could try compiling beta versions but after you are done with it and if you have problems then you must not ask for help with the beta version because they are not supported here
which game are you trying to run BTW?

It's all about Breath of Fire 5. This game runs slowly unfortunately but i will not request any patch for this game. I just wanted to know if it is possible to solve this issue with a patch, because even with the PGO-build method it won't run at full speed, will it? Or is it just my system?

render to texture. That is the function used for framebuffer rendering.

Hi,

First I'd like to say thanks for the great work on the plugin gabest!

Now, I noticed the following behaviour running FFXII with GSDX 0.1.9 D3D10 w/ Vsync on Vista32-SP1 (HD4850, q6600@3ghz, 4gb RAM):

As Lusht mentioned, the game can slow way down when playing in fullscreen with vsync. I noticed that in window mode (and leaving the internal resolution the same), this slowdown didn't occur. Then I tried maximizing the game (not going into fullscreen mode with alt+enter) and surprisingly the slowdown didn't occur. I then switched to fullscreen with alt+enter and the slowdown occured. Then I switched back to maximized again with alt+enter and the slowdown was gone. Shouldn't fullscreen mode be faster then a maximized state?

It seems like there should be a simple explanation/fix for this fullscreen vsync mode behaviour. Does anyone know how to workaround this fullscreen vsync slowdown?

In maximized state is window mode only, the internal resolution is still active so it wont make any difference whatever window size you select.

I just reinstalled Vista (I'm dualbooting with XP) and can't get DirectX10 render to show up in the list despite installing the DirectX Runtimes stated in the OP. However I remember there used to be some dll files specified there as well for GSdx10 mode and I remember needing these. I just can't remember exactly what dll files it was from top of my head, any1 can share some light on this?

the specific dll changed along with the revisions. At one point they were d3dx10_36.dll and dxd9_36.dll

A gsdx revision or 2 later they then changed to d3dx10_37.dll. Then gabest began simply linking to microsofts runtime links. So im not certain what revision the dll is currently at. They may be on revision 38. But one what to find out for certain is to browse some of source code at sourceforge.

Like I already said I downloaded the DirectX runtimes (August 2008 build) linked in first page and it's the latest build still but that didn't do the trick.

Yep I tried that too, it only said same or newer version already installed so didn't do anything. I'm sure it's some dll file missing though, guess I'll have to start digging into the source code to see what dll files it requires. :/

I told you which dll it requires. You just need the proper revision of the dll I mentioned above.

I have all those dlls (d3dx10_xx.dll & D3Dcompilerxx files), rev 33 - 39 in the system32 folder already...

EDIT: Aha works now, seems like PCSX2 folder has to be on the Vista OS partition for it to work... tried to run it from the XP partition as I've previously done.

Hmm, well your original specific request was a reminder of the dll files that used to be in gabest's initial thread post. and d3dx_**.dll (where * is the revision # of the dll) were those very files.

enable the native checkbox in GSdx and make the NLOOP hack greyed.
