Hi all! I have an AMD AM2 Athlon 64 X2 5600+ (Alias Windsor), it supports SSE3 instructions, but im still unable to use the SSE3 plugin. Any idea of why? And if in the future it will work with AMD processors? Thanks

because its GSdx SSSE3, not SSE3
extra 'S'

and i don't think AMD will ever support SSSE3...

Thanks for the correction, hadnt seen the third s

Now the question must be, will be a SSE3 (two S) plugin for AMD processors? Or there wouldnt be differences of performance among SSE2 and SSE3? It would be logical not do it if its not going to help on nothing.

it won't help, because SSE3 doesn't have any useful instructions for GSdx.

vsync only works good in fullscreen, in windowed it limits @30fps sometimes.
Dunno about windowed mode, I'm always playing in the Fullscreen mode (alt+enter ftw).

May I ask some strange question (it buggung me more than 2 years) - is it possible that we will see working POSTPROCESSING effects in games, which is in DISABLED list ? And what is the main reason for disabling it - speed loss or bugs ? Without that effects graphics not so beautiful as it can be Maybe it possible to emulate the way of working postprocessing with shaders (pixel or vertex) ?

Hi all,
I know this is offtopic. But I'd like to make a PGO Build via Visual C++ 2008. Does someone have the time and feel like giving me a short tutorial on this? Is it that easy anyway? Sry in advance if this request have caused inconveniences.

Hey I'm stumped...

I try to run my iso with GSdx 1.9 and am told "Please update DirectX!" I already have DirectX 10. When I run the DirectX upload manager I get the message "An internal system error occured." Is there any way I can get around this? Thanks.

@Lusht: Thx for answering.
Did you mean sourcecodes?

Maybe these links can provide you those codes. I'm not that sure.

https://pcsx2.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pcsx2/

https://guliverkli.svn.sourceforge.n...li/trunk/gsdx/

pcsx2-playground - Google Code

First link for the original PCSX2 sources.
The second one for the original GSdx sources.
Third - it's PCSX2pp.

I can't see PGO version of GSdx... 0_o

Lusht:
You misunderstood. PGO is a compiler technique, you apply it to an existing programm to (possibly) make it faster.

Oh, I see.
Well, I've read the docs and guess it is will not be fast enough. There is no hope to get +50fps >_>

No, I've got also 40 till 50 fps. Is it possible that some kind of patch would solve this issue?
