pressing f5 you can manually cycle through the different types of interlacing modes. Just find the right one which stops the trembling.

It is possible to fix <that> thing? Also, for what purposes exist "Logarithmic Z" and "SW Thread"?

UPD[Wed Oct 01 22:11:44 2008] Figure out the problem with huge slowdown in DX10 mode: Wait Vsync cause this (fps drops to 10 even with 1 skeleton on the screen!) Still, DX9 much faster and works smooth (vsync do job great).

Looks like Shadow of the Collussus and Silent Hill 4 The Room both had the same shadow projection bug Any idea how to fix it ? Maybe something wrong with Alpha or Z ? On real PS2 these shadows projecting on character geometry and ground without weird projection lines? and looks very nice (like soft shadows)...

A lot of games have these shadow bugs. Shadow of the Colossus, Castlevania Curse of Darkness, Jak 3, and it seems Silent Hill 4 as well. At least, at Shadow of the Colossus, the bug is gone when using software mode. A pitty gabest never looked in this problem. Of course, it has nothing to do with pcsx2

your computer will never run PS2 games playable without SSE2. Later versions of pcsx2 doesn't even run the recompiler anymore without it. so upgrade or stick to your PS2/PS3

Hello everyone, I've read something about a gsdx PGO build that would speed up some games like BoF 5. Can anyone give me more information about this? Thx in advance!

Sure. PGO is an optimization that involves "training" the .dll or .exe to do a specific task. It works very well for stuff like BoF 5, cause this game stresses one routine in gsdx too much. PGO now optimizes the routine so it executes faster.. There, explanation given. Now please don't start asking for downloads
