Hi there gabest!

Me again.
The thing is, I have now Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 , lend by a friend. I told him Sparking Neo! was working now in full 3D. But when I tested, it turns out that BT2 is having the same issue with your plugin that Sparking Neo! had. No 3D graphics, instead, black characters.

As you can see here:

CRC for this game is 35aa84d1 .

Uhm, can you fix that, pleeeease? I know you can

Thanks.

Silent Hill 2

Hi, Gabest... Catch some bugreports...

1. Silent Hill 2 Director's Cut (CRC 380d6782):
Lower part of face is missing (and some other body parts flicker sometimes)... Looks terrifying though...

Tried almost all combinations of PCSX2 and GSdx versions...

Film grain effect eats fps a lot...
Video frame is not centered, but moved toward bottom of screen... Video is a bit slow don't know why...

2. Okami (CRC 21068223):
Sometimes polygons disappear at some view angles (Just like in FFX with ZeroGS and FFXhack off)...
I've lost savestate and I don't want to see that 30-minutes long unskippable intro right now just to make .gs for you...

That one is a pcsx2 issue (similar to sps issues in other games, except that stuff is not visible rather than standard sps where you get massive tearing). The only solution at present is to use the most recent pcsx2 playground svn versions as they contain the roundmode hack which is required to fix it. Setting the roundmode to negative fixes it.

Comparison screenshot of before and after attached to this post.

Mad: I second your question. I`d love to get to play that game in pcsx2 without the split screen issues that plague Dark Alliance 1 & 2.

Actually the BG 1 & 2 bug from gsdx is a minor thing.
The game doesnt run with VURECs, but lets fix one thing at a time
If you look into the link in my sig, you´ll see hows it run ingame.

Well I was getting 42-50 fps (with a 50 fps frame limit set) majority of the time. Not perfect, but completely playable. And I played the game from start to finish without any major graphics glitches, besides minor things here and there (eg the sewer grate on the ground in the first area after James comes out of the toilet room).

JEskandari, you can try running gsdx in software mode, and see if it helps.

Try the different Z mode if you use dx9, otherwise try using dx10 instead.

Well if it works on software mode, post here a .gs file, from the same place the bug appears. Also post the full name of the game, and CRC.

If youre lucky, maybe gabest will fix it

You forgot the game CRC.
Look in the pcsx2 console.

3D stereoscopic capability

Gabest,

First, thank you for this wonderful Plugin.

Up to the version 010.0 (MSVC 14, SS2), it was possible to run the emulator in Stereo-3D with the (free anaglyph) driver from The World's First 3D Monitors Designed for Gamers - iZ3D. I could activate the effect/driver and whatch real 3D depth in REZ. This is awesome. (This driver works practically with every dx8/9/10 game, also windowed mode, google earth and PCSX2.)

Unfortunately, since 010.0 this is not possible anymore. The driver doesnt "kick in" anymore. Maybe you can remember what happend in the transition from the mentionend version to the next, that could be the clear reason for this? In the hope, it would be something that could be restored (at a later time), so 3D would work again.... Of course, it is possible that Iz3D changed something in their structure.

For 3D 2 images are needed and fast, maybe it has something to do with the framebuffer.. well, i have no idea.

Anyway, thanks for your effort on this superb plugin!
