Excuse me.... probably a noob question... I'm trying to get best results from tekken5. Which version of gsdx I need? I've tried 0.1.9 v 846 and 848 but I always get vertical black lines. PS: my config q6600@3.33 4gb 9800gtx vista64bit dx10 |

Try using Native Resolution mode, and if that doesn't fix it then try disabling texture filtering too.

khestoi2 : Usually it's a video card problem. May I know your video card and drivers used? I'm guessing it's an ATI card. Just a guess.

I know that this is off topic but I have one question about this thread. Is that's the way that this thread is meant to act or there's a problem with it or my browser. When I want to see the last post in this thread and click on button it doesn't open the last post,it always open the first post and in that way I have to first open the thread and than go to the last page and scroll down to the last post(this happens only when I press the but if the GSdx thread is the newest thread when I click on the thread name or at button in "PS2 Emulation" page then it opens the last post)This happens only in this thread and only when I'm in "PS2 Plugin Questions & Troubleshooting" |

HIHO in shadow hearts (EU) SLES_508.22;1; crc=7DE3F9E8 there is a bug much like the one in FF8 (PC) my guess is thats because the game uses pictures much like resident evil.... i don't have another game that uses picture backgrounds so i can't verify it i'm reporting something like this for the first time so if i forgot anything tell me |

KabooZ: Its a known problem, along with the slowness :/ Anyway, try dx9 mode in native res or a multiple of the games native res. This fixes the black stripes for me. You could also use the software renderer, but it has missing backgrounds sometimes and will slow down in some scenes.. Edit: Try dx9 with 2560 * 1792 internal res, works nicely for me

Are there a lot of known issues with Monster Hunter? Using PCSX2 0.9.4 and GSdx 0.1.8, I get horrible stuttering even though the fps counter never goes below 50. With 0.1.9 it won't output video at all, so I just see a black screen. PCSX2 0.9.5 gives me the black screen problem for all versions of GSdx. Edit: The stuttering problem is unrelated to GSdx. Is there any way to change native res on fly with patch or something? I get black stripeds on FFX-2 fmvs if I set internal res anything above 640x832... But game looks much better with higher internal resolution.. EDIT: so basicly it would be cool to change internal res to 640x832 when fmv begins and then change it back to normal value when fmv is over

if it was a setting per game, it would be relatively easy to implement, but changing it mid-game would require complicated checks... like checking what kind of "data" is being sent, every frame :P.

why gsdx? when IPU is used with compatible Mpeg2 movies (like in ffx-2) pcsx2 plays it with a codec that runs natively (unemulated) on windows ![]() just like John Peterson used a vgmstream dll to play gamecube music natively: Music support in Dolphin

why not? nobody said its impossible ![]() of course it would be required to stop the emulation while the videos plays, and its just difficult to make more games compatible with this method.

NexXxus: I meant IPU emulation isnt like you think on pcsx2. Yes, it uses a library for some decoding work. Still has to emulate the whole IPU ![]() There's no code that says "Open media player classic with file fmv1.avi"
