SVN is open source, so Its kinda free of use. I'm merly offering a compiled verion with no support.
Correct me if im wrong.

Until you answer me, Ill remove the pcsx2 compiled svn on my site.I dont want to be in conflict with any mod or admin here.
It does break the rule,we do NOT allow any kind of unofficially built SVNs here since day 1. True,it isn't written down in our rules page but I guessed most people get the hint after seeing even talking about PCSX2 SVNs (outside one particular thread) is also against the rules.
This should clear things up

Hey gabest, thanks for the session hint, it made the discs readable, at least, and the plugin now is quite fast in FMVs.
I still can't use the dvd_read_structure ioctl tho, but I can live without it... for now.

So I'm on Linux, and I thought about porting GSdx into OpenGL. (I didn't play with compilation of PCSX2 yet however.) I plan to start around Monday or so.

Gabest do you have any hints?

I'm sure it will need many changes for gcc. Other than syntactical differences, you have to implement three classes: renderer, device, texture. Good starting point would be the null classes (GSDeviceNull, GSRenderNull, GSTextureNull).

EDIT: OK With DX10 mode it doesn't crash when it gets to the same point but instead it gets uberslow below 2 FPS (CPU in titlebar rises to 99% indicating something in GSdx eats up my GPU ) and yellow screen. This is the New York city race track in arcade mode and single race.

I know, already checked it and everything looks ok, just the texture coordinates are wrong, may be pcsx2.

Yeah... 106fps. It only happens when I stop the car in front of a corner... or... something simple like that. But it does that quite often. It's either having a Quad-core with a HD 4870 is awesome for PCSX2 and GSDX, or... Windows Server 2008 is that awesome, or both.

Can someone help me with a noob question?

I can compile SSE2 and SSSE3 just fine, but there's a lot of errors when I try SSE4:

1>GSVector.cpp
1>c:\msvs2008express\gsdx\gsdx\GSVector.h(1682) : error C2143: syntax error : missing ')' before ';'
1>c:\msvs2008express\gsdx\gsdx\GSVector.h(1682) : error C2059: syntax error : ')'
1>c:\msvs2008express\gsdx\gsdx\GSVector.h(1687) : error C2143: syntax error : missing ')' before ';'
1>c:\msvs2008express\gsdx\gsdx\GSVector.h(1687) : error C2059: syntax error : ')'

I already read this, with no luck.

What exactly I have to do? (I'm sure it's a simple thing... *sigh*)

Right click, go to definition, delete the semicolons from the end.

Ok, got it...

But why did you do this? It's not fair with we noobs

(it was hard enough to do the whole thing to work, for someone that never have opened a VS before )

You fail technically

The crash as mentioned by RPGW1ZaRD and myself, is only occuring in the dx9 plugin. Since I use Windows XP I cant use DX10, so GT4 is currently unplayable for me, due to the previously mentioned errors. Bit hard to ignore a crash of the emulator. But yes if you were using dx10 then yes the crash wouldn`t occur, just slow down.

RPGW1ZaRD said that at that spot, it slowed down his computer AND then hung up without crashing, and the screen was showing yellow. I was only countering that. If I had wanted to address DirectX 9, I would have quoted you instead. And either way, try other tracks. I know Suzuka would work without a hitch in Direct X 9 (actually some garbages at some points, but nothing too drastic, and you can complete the entire race). (The Youtube video I uploaded earlier was in Direct X 9)

P.S.: Could be a graphics card thing. That spot doesn't go below 20fps for me. Maybe that was why it passed within 20 seconds.

Hi gabest
I have an error with Gxds 0.1.9 sse2 in dx9 mode and
MGS3: Subsistence PAL
crc 5e31ea42

This game runs very well, but when there is the first codec conversation it stops with an error generated by gsdx
I have already checked, this error doesn't occur in gsdx software mode

My Pc
Amd x2 4600+ 2.4 Ghz
Geforce 7600 gt
ram 2 ghz

What's the problem?

I guess the next version will be 0.1.10, because 0.2.0 would mean, that it would take a big step further, you know.
Nice to see you posting here, too, Cole.

Just because he forgot to update the version number, doens't mean it's "still 1.9". The version number doesn't magically get updated on its own, you know?
