Tested with and without speedhacks on, and the same results for me. Its not a major issue for me either way, as I play Disgaea more than anything else. But I do like to back and test GT4 from time to time.

Uploaded a new cdvd plugin to the svn. Surprisingly, it could load crash wrath of cortex that I think is a ps2cd. But that's not the point, I made it to see if direct dvd drive reads can be improved and it is already a lot better, for example the intro video of grandia3 plays without any hiccups now, with peops it took me ages to get through. No config dialog yet, drive or iso path in the source, but it's not hard to find, there is only one small .cpp file.

There is no difference in reading the drive or an image file, for dvds.

Agree, feels that SPU2 needs an upgrade also...

Current SPU2 doesn't sound quite alright for me with lots of improvement to go.

I just wanna report Gran Turismo 4 like Hockland it also crashes for me when a race is about to start and the crash happens to gsdx.dll files. Seems like it might only be an issue with DX9 but I'll confirm that very soon.

EDIT: OK With DX10 mode it doesn't crash when it gets to the same point but instead it gets uberslow below 2 FPS (CPU in titlebar rises to 99% indicating something in GSdx eats up my GPU ) and yellow screen. This is the New York city race track in arcade mode and single race.

Trying to play my FFX-2 PAL, but getting horrible FMV video.

FFX worked fine.

Tried native res, disabling MultiCore, DC, Zeros/GSDX both dont work.

I'd rather not skip videos as thats half the fun in a FF game.

I was refered to this thread saying if I post my CRC theres a patch?

CRC is 9AAC5309, i've tried so many combinations of options its unreal.

At first thank you very much gabest for great plug-in

but in srw2 srw3 srwog srwogs picture is very perfect
when use full3d texture flitering(as in pic.)

but it make problem to background that has line on it(as in pic too)

i want to know how can i fix this.
if not could you please fix this problem because it make perfect for play srw series thanks.

ps. i use Gsdx 1.9.0 plugin

Have you had any trouble with reading the sectors from a REAL dvd drive in vista?

I was trying to fix (partially rewrite) my cdvdGigaherz, and I noticed I can't access my dvd drive anymore, but with daemon tools it works fine. :/
