Does software mode in KH2 have huge fps drop when you defeat enemies and they drop things like munny etc? Cause in hardware its sometimes like
60 --> 2 fps drop, very annoying

Gabest, 2 weeks ago (before the release of 0.1.8) you asked for the CRC of a problematic Bully version with post-processing, as you can see here: GSdx

0.1.8 is out, I even checked 0.1.9 and the problem persists. I think you forgot to add the crc... can you please do that?

Title: Bully (Canis Canem Edit PAL)
CRC: C78A495D
Action: remove post-processing

Thanks a lot.

help please...
i want to know what is crc of a game . why is it important for patching the game .

i find that in dbz budokai tenkaichi 3 there is no flickering in the screen while using gsdx0.1.5 , frame rate around 15 fps,
but using 0.1.8 the frame rate has gone up by 5-10 fps but the screen flickers.

If you check the source this crc is already there. It could be a different version than I fixed, that's why it is not working.

Nice, the latest svn updates increased speed yet again. So it was possible to improve it even more i guess

I'd still like to ask what happened to this bug though.
You fixed it already, but somewhere along the way it broke again ><

Anyway, some nice work again. Thanks Gabest

Jast checked Yakuza. FMVs are black with GSdx SVN 788 (DX9 Renderer, can't try DX10 :P ). Fine with ZeroGS but ingame is glitchy. Gonna try 0.1.8 too..

Yap, blackscreen while FMVs are playing in official 0.1.8 too

Faster and often more compatible. So, yeah, it's better

BTW, RE Outbreak 1 & 2 has a problem too. Blackscreen while first intro screens are showing. Picture appears only with a screen where you have to press start to enter menu.

P.S. I can upload dumps of this games if you need it.

Gabest seems to be ok with reporting svn bugs. As long as you don't ask for improvements.

speed is getting better lately, unfortunately i dont have sse4 for more speedboost. does it make a difference at all? coz if it does, i think im willing to upgrade to a 45nm chip because sse4 is being optimized more and more and i want to take advantage of it.

Press shift+f8 if you see it again.

Well, Nehalem with no new SSE instructions in 2009, Sandy Bridge with AVX around 2010-11, or maybe we'll be using nvidia cpu by that time, depends on how much you can wait

Here are the bugs I have in Haunting Ground. I had to upload to Rapidshare because I can't file attach to this forum.

RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
In DX10 Hardware, both 0.1.7 and 0.1.8, there are black boxes that surround the main character, a slight ghosting, and different brightness on top and bottom halves. In 0.1.8 only (shown in the pic), there are thick vertical lines.

RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
In DX9 Hardware 0.1.8, there are thick vertical lines that are not present in 0.1.7. Both show some ghosting and the screen seems to have different brightness on the top and bottom halves.

RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
In both 0.1.7 and 0.1.8, in many scenes several objects turn completely white. This is prevalent throughout the game. Unfortunately, I'm stuck at a certain point in the game because the "boss fight" screen is completely white with nothing visible.

All these bugs are exactly the same between 0.94 and 0.95 SVN 377.
If there's any way to fix these bugs (especially the white screen bug), I would really appreciate it because I'm stuck in the game.

Unfortunately, ZeroGS doesn't work at all so I can't use it to compare to GSDX to determine whether the problems are GSDX or PCSX2.

My system is AMD X2 5600+, 4GB RAM, Vista Ultimate, Geforce 8800GS 384MB.

I would like to say thanks to gabest for fixing suikoden 3. it seems that the newest svn w/ SSE4 fixed MOST of the crazy graphic glitches it seems.
