Yes because this GSdx version was released AFTER the bug reporter......

Ghost Rider is missing most of the graphics ingame with gsdx 1.8 (in hardware mode) due to an opaque white layer. Software mode is perfect while Gsdx 1.7 and earlier show a transparent white layer (in hardware mode). Silent hill origins also suffers from similar problem.

Dump attached here (as I think it will be more useful than gs file). Use all default options.

Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

Is this specific to DX10? I see this also with my DX10 setup, I kinda figured it was because I was running at 1920x1200, as some other games have little quirks (on this and other console emulators) due to running at way too high a resolution.

Gradius V has two issues I noticed, one is a garbage overlay flashing around when you do the space-time warp (2nd and last stage, the cutscene between two Vic Vipers). The other is lines arond the letter textures, picture attached. This latter also affects the high score table and the staff roll.

Tested in DX10 mode, ssse3 build, core 2 e6550 and ati 3650. Native res, d3d hardware.
Neither happens in Software mode.
DX9 mode lacks the texture issue, but the space-time warp effect has much more garbage in it.
Also, gsdx reports the game to use 640x447 resolution, strange...

Also, some DX10 specific issues I probably mentioned before: Vsync has no effect, fullscreen mode stretches to the desktop resolution instead of switching to the specified resolution, and the lack of HUD makes it impossible to measure the fps in fullscreen mode. Neither of these are problems in dx9 mode.

Anyway back to topic, this is GREAT plug-in, so far its the fastest.
I have a question, can some one who have SSE 4 check what's the difference in speed vs. SSE 3?
My most intense game Ace Combat 4 gets no increase with SSE4, and Iam saying that going from a E4500 @ 3.40Ghz using SSSE3 to a E7200 @ 3.80Ghz using SSE4.

Don't say its my video card I already tried it with a HD3870 in this system and got no change.

Ah sorry confused with FF-X

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a strange "bug"? In Persona 3 and Persona 3 FES, the issue is that when I take a screenshot, the screenshot looks Fine?!
Its sort of green lines, with small green/red cubes

It happens on all versions of plug-in the old and the new, DirectX 10/9

Doesnt the x360 pad have vibration when used with ssspsx? I always used that and it worked fine.
Xpad plugin doesn't work at all, likely because I use custom drivers for my x360 pad.

The XBCD drivers don't have XInput support, so you have to go back to the default drivers to use Xpad (which is an XInput plugin).

SSSPSX works just fine with the XBCD drivers, but it's really laggy in some games (i.e. Disgaea 2). Lilypad works better, but the vibration is really screwed up with the XBCD drivers I've installed. I haven't tried Xpad yet (switching drivers for different programs is a hassle), but it's a good idea.

If you don't have XBCD drivers installed, you will never have vibration in DirectInput games. The Microsoft XBox 360 DirectInput drivers are deliberately crippled. Either that or just plain terrible. It's hard to tell.

Gabest messed my GPU plugin checking method up with sse4. For some reason he did not include the originalfilename. A fix will be up soon.

yes it is, you can get rid of the black lines by turning off texture filtering in dx10, you can set the d3d int res as high as you want and your vid card can handle.

xpad is the perfect plugin for xbox 360 controllers, the rumble feature is great, also unlike ssspsx pad plugin when using xpad i can finally multitask (surf the net, play epsxe, etc.) while my nephew is playing pcsx2(windowed), simply AWESOME!

edit: using nview (dual monitor), its even better because im playing pcsx2 fulscreen on my samsung 32" lcd tv while my sis is playing online games on my 19" lcd monitor

VISTA SP1 user here, never had that problem, you might be doing something wrong or your dx might be outdated
