dxdiag only says the installed version of directx, not what your card supports (says dx10 even in my x1950pro).

Will we still get updates on gsdx9 after this, by the way?

DragonQuest VIII is running 15-30% faster than before with less graphical errors than before.

Thanks Gabest.

Maybe someone could test this using the DirectX 10 wrapper "Alky for games", it is available here as a preview:

It uses new dx10-only features, no chance they can be mapped to dx9.

I don't have Vista installed but am I glad your getting rid of the blur on some of the games. Street Fighter EX 3 is one of the worst offenders.

I am very glad to see this under development. Good work, I'm going to try it now.

Does DX10 offload stuff from the CPU and give it to the GPU? There are some big speed improvements I'm seeing.

God of to war, twirled the 60 fps in the beginning, when it enters in the same game is in 30 fps with progressive scan and showing 200% of speed, if to take off progressive scan, kills fps in 30, but goes down for 100% and the speed is as if he was slower, I did not understand what can be. to continue with the same graphical errors of the others plugins, must be something with the emulator and not plugin.

FFX Stripes
There is one flaw in GSDX that keeps FFX from being fully enjoyable. At least on my system. Randomly after scene changes, battles or accessing the Spheregrid i am getting GFX bugs in the form of stripes through background and landscape textures. Anyone got any idea about this? Or can anyone even confirm this error on their own machine?

PS: Thankfully Blitzball aint affected.

this problem has been mentioned several times, it happens in GSDX9 too, but not in ZeroGS.

When I had a my Geforce 7600GT in Vista, dxdiag still showed DirectX 10 installed, I just checked on my dads laptop which has a integrated intel graphics solutions and it still reads DX10.

Hm, made a little mistake which costs many fps with destination alpha test. I thought it will be faster this new way, but it's not.

Oh yeah, quick question. Sorry I didn't ask earlier.

Does gsdx10 use geometry shaders (sm 4.0)? If so, does that help improve performance? I wouldn't know because I don't have a DX10 card. Looking to upgrade though.
