hey just a minor gripe but, is it normal that you can't drag the twinpad config window around with your mouse? i also can't seem to select the window by clicking on it, i have to click the tab on the windows toolbar. also this was in a previous version (haven't tested with the new version yet) but some of the controls seem backwards - press up on the direction/joystick buttons and it goes down, press left and it goes right - this was in Wipeout Fusion. Again, not a biggy since I can just set everything backwards, but it is kinda weird. |

not sure about the config window problem, but your backwards controls are probably caused by misconfigured buttons. The pictures used to represent the buttons are not 'arrows' they are pictures of the actual PS2 game pad controls which just happen to look like arrows.

Urgent!!
Quote:
also fixed a bug in ActionMapper function (offsets where wrong, and conflcts with each other) Stupid Astute (what a paradox )Obviously If you configure(i.e L2) with LMB you will get Left Analog stick working! it's fixed now (corrected the offset of mouse button releases) also PadWinKeyb pressure wasn't working properly, now it's fixed And you can configure Left or Right Analog to mouse buttons from 4 to 8 now. I hope it's perfect now. (with these final touches )All of you, please download it again! sorry, didn't notice this bug until this morning, while having a glance on the code. Quote:

ok... that mouse support is good... but can i configure the mouse like... if you move your mouse, like x-axis will be the left, x+axis will be right, y-axis will be L2, y+axis will be R2... ?? Last edited by darkice; January 20th, 2007 at 12:01.. |

Just felt like I wanted to give some feedback (whenever you read this). Haven't had time before when I'm in the army right now. Now I can't find any problems and the mouse button support is nice as I have a Logitech MX-510 and those thumb buttons come handy and it works fine to attach the buttons to them, also without the Logitech mouse driver installed. ![]() Mouse analog stick movement is perfect now for moving characters or changing viewing angle (games tested are Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy XII, Grandia III and Resident Evil 4). In Grandia III the character even walks if I only move the mouse a bit and starts walking faster and running when I move it a bit more (the mouse movement required for walk/run is quite perfect IMO) but aiming in Resident Evil 4 is still not that great as it's not responsive enough but this can't be fixed I'm guessing as it would ruin the movement control for other games as it's already as good as it can be. An option to change mouse sensitivity/responsitivity/accuracy or whatever you should call it in the config would perhaps be possible so people could change it in the way they want it to be depending on game but probably a bit difficult to achieve and for games that could benefit by such option are rather few. I know there's a specific input plugin setup for Goldeneye 007 N64 that has the same goal as this plugin, to provide a good keyboard/mouse support and it had a configurable mouse sensitivity option so you could get the aiming to feel good. That's just a thought though. I wanna thank you once again for a really great input plugin. Here's also a short demonstration from Grandia III of how the mouse control works. (only the mouse were used) :)

i know that someone already said this, but i still can't use newer version of the plugin... it's that runtime error '429'... what exactly do i have to do to make it work? And anyway, i couldn't get the analogs working... dunno why... everything is set up like it's told here... Last edited by boko1008; February 21st, 2007 at 04:34.. |

Controls not working here and there are most times an emulation issue, meaning using a different pad plugin will not solve it (if both included pad plugins don't work). Other than that,I think you can't use TwinPad to play with your gamepad,it was answered before in this thread if i recall correctly.
