video stretching?

Hi ZeroFrog, thanks for this great plugin ( its the only one that run Rumble Roses on my machine, GSdx9 cant render the game for some reason).

I had a question though: is there any way to make the output stretch to fit the whole screen? On my machine it appears as a square box( whether windowed or fullscreen) and doesn't occupy the whole width...Thanks

ZeroGS fixes the aspect ratio, so you'll always see two bars on either the horz or vertical sides. For Rumble Roses, I think that game also renders its own bars, which explains why the image looks shrunken.

But sometimes ZeroGS messes up the aspect ratio, which could be another explanation as to why. This will be solved in the next version of ZeroGS.

I think an option to have it stretch to fit would be nice. Gsdx9 doesn't always get the aspect ratio right, but it's nice when the picture fills your screen.

Why are FF popular ? I am not a fool. I just do not like RPG because it is too long and I have a life. Once I played RPG like Zelda I got addicted. The Zelda I do not mind since I enjoyed it and not long game. THE FF series are in the pain and most long games I played tried -- FF8 so I do not understand why people are into it. I do not find it great. It keep you from have a life. *GRIN*

EDIT: Ignore the grammar. I am an american but I do not feel like it, ok ?

Hi there, i saw the GSDX 0.9 window that was shown by General Plot. I have an Inno3D NVIDIA Geforce FX5500 256MB/128bit Pixel Shader 2.0 Support Video Card installed on my computer. But GSDX 0.9 doesn't recognize my Pixel Shader. It only shows one option (Fixed Pipeline). I can't even use the ZeroGS plug-in cause it always says that "GS plug-in error". Please help me. I don't know what went wrong. I used to have the GEforce 2 MX400 and i had changed my video card lately to FX5500 to play more 3d games and to use ZeroGS but until now i can't use it because of the error plug-in. Please help me Zerofrog i want to use your plug-in and i want to try it to test my new card. Thanx in advance.

Have you completely uninstalled video drivers and update to new ones?

Yes, i think cause i follow the steps on the user manual of my video card.
First i download and install the new AGP driver from www.sis.com (cause in my device manager the AGP controller manufacturer is sis). Then after installing the updated driver for AGP controller. I restart my computer and ther i uninstall the old GF2 MX400 driver in the device manager. By clicking the video adapter it shows my old graphics card and double-clicking it shows its properties and then i've click the uninstalled driver and then restart it.
After it restarts i've shut it down and unmount the old graphics card and mount the new GF FX5500 card and connect my monitor. Then i start my computer and install the driver of NVIDIA(universal driver). But when i run dxdiag i test all 3d graphics and it said that there are no problems found. I save the log and it shows the specs, but im searching for the pixel/vertex shader 2.0 and there are no logs on what shader it detects. I don't even see the word pixel/vertex shader in the log. What will i do? Do i need to uninstall the whole drivers and re-install it? Please help and thanx for your reply.

PS: i saw the dxlog of MAD which has an FX 5200 vid card. It detects the pixel shader but mine cannot. I wonder what seems to be the problem. I've tested the Game "Prince of Persia Warrior Within" and it works real fine. On its detection it detects a pixel shader but it only says "Adequate Pixel Shader" cause it only needs Pixel Shader 1.1. I have not yet tried another 3d game.
What game should i try to know if my pxel shader 2.0 works and how will the emulator detects my graphic features (especially pixel shader to play games fast). So sad.

The main thing I noticed from the first time I used ZeroGs is that game screen always looks like out of focus. Recently I found that if savestate is loaded, first the picture is clear but the next moment it is not. To demostrate what I mean I post screenshots from macross SDF. Screens _a_ are made in the first moment after loading gamesave, _b_ is the common look of the screen.

Also colors in ZeroGs differ from gsdx9. I post a gsdx9 image. It is the one which shows only half of the screen But colors look more realistic in it.

Hey Zero, been tryin to play kingdom hearts one and theres only 2 problems i can see other than low FPS (which i want MTGS to be fixed badly to help speed up)

1) It's not widescreen like GS is, it's perfect square making all the games squish to fit.

2) It's slower than GS for some reason

GS however has two disadvantages over yours, there are weird lines all over the place and it has a odd bouncing effect making the screen vibrate

zerogs 0.94 will come out soon, all these problems + the slowness issue have been resolved. Actually, zerogs 0.94 out-performs gsdx in many games now.

Will it have a stretch to fit window option? I'm really hoping for it.
