they are implemented in the playground release, look in the ngemu news to download the binary.

as i said, when GSdx isn't faster and the CPU percentage in GSdx's bar is below 90% then the Emu is slowing down the game.
Using Speedhacks or upgrading/overclocking your CPU might help.

But since you got an AMD, there is not much potential.

Which game are you trying to run?
what are your system specs.
Did you read the guide to configure pcsx2.

My system:

Q6600 stock
2GB RAM
9800GTX SLI (SLI is off for Pcsx2)
150GB WD Raptor

I am playing FFX with ZeroGS 0.97.1 and PAL BIOS v02.00. Pcsx2 is version 0.9.6.

Whenever a particle effect appears (fire, dust, smoke, etc) the game will slow down to the extreme. This only happens when AA is on. It's not a big problem, thanks to the handy key toggles, I can switch AA off when the game does slow down.

Just wondering if you are aware of this and if any fixes are known!
Thanks!

I also heard the source code for ZeroGS is available? Where can I get that?

Hi,

I don't know where i write my problem. I choose this thread. hope i'm right here.

First my system:

Core2Duo E8400 @ 3Ghz
ATI Radeon HD 3650
4GB RAM

My problem:
I configure pcsx and after i press OK i get this msg: "Could not load GS Plugin 'plugins': <NULL>

Then i press OK and get to the start of pcsx with this little blue screen. i click on 'Run CD/DVD'
and get "_cdvdOpenNVM: Error Creating bios\PS2 Bios 30004R V6 Pal.NVM"
-> PCSX close itselfs.

Sometimes it also says "couldn't create GSLog.txt"

I don't know how to go on. I really want to play FFX again

Hope one of you nice guys can help me Thanks

EDIT: Solved the problem by myself...Vista sucks - only have to start pcsx as admin...

ZeroGS Does it work with ATI cards?

Hi,
I'm trying to use this plugin with my Hd 4870 1gb (2 cards in crossfire mode ) I can't make any game to play correctly ;( when using GSDX everything is fine. Can Zerofrog make it work with Ati cards and preferably in dx10.1 and shaders 4.1 when he finds some time to do it, please. Thank you very much from all ATI users

go complain to ATI. its their drivers fault for sucking at most opengl texture formats.

Are there any plans to have an option to run custom resolution in windowed mode? That would be awesome.

I hope zerofrog hasn't discontinued this plugin, I speak for all AMD users here. This plugin is the only way AMD users (dual core) can use PCSX2 at a playable FPS (of course with a really good GPU).

I've managed to get Mortal Kombat Armageddon up to 50 to 55fps on my AMD system.
CPU : AMD 7750 BE @ 3.1GHZ (yes. 3.1GHZ, damn mobo doesnt have multiplier settings)
GPU : ATI HD4870 1GB (does most of the work, from what i've read)
RAM : 2GB

I'm still looking for ways to squeeze 5 more FPS outta this config before i post a game specific guide. If anyone's interested in the config at the moment, drop me a PM.

Thanks for your work on the plugin thus far Zerofrog.

edit : oh and by the way, the blood in Mortal Kombat Armageddon renders in grey when using this plugin. has anyone got it red?

azzera...

What kind of processor do you have? It would have to be over 8 years old to not support SSE2. If you really have a Pentium III then you have no hope of running pcsx2 at all.

No, it isn't.

You won't even get over 5fps with it.

Too bad.
Well just downloaded version 0.9.4 and it's working (with this no sse2)
But you're right it's still slow, not 5fps but between 20-30.

Thanks anyway for answering!

?????

0.9.4 doesn't have speed hacks or am I missing something

btw: in 0.9.2 I used to get 10-20 fps in FFX with my AMD athlon 1.8GHz onboard video old labtop. It is still not playable, but it made me happy to see I could emulate FFX back then. It took hours to get to the Stadium when u start a new game, it was fun to watch though, lol.
