I did install the CG libraries. The CG-2.0 (December 2007) release. Is that the correct one?

I'm also running the 1.0_9755-87 version of the nvidia drivers.

ZeroGS 0.96.7 error with Geforce FX 5700VE

Hi all,

i read in this forum all about the compatibility beetween ZerOGS plugin and VGA's pixel shader version.

I have a Geforce FX 57000VE with 256MB, on a
Intel p4 HT 3ghz
1gb ram
Linux kernel 2.6.22.14

techPowerUp! :: GPU Database : NVIDIA FX 5700 VE
from this page i read that my card have pixel shader to 2.0 but pcsx2's behaviour make me think that there something wrong...

Why i have the "error opening GS plugin" window when i execute Bios or ISOs?

i've all dependencies soddisfied, and the version of nvidia-cg-toolkit is 1.5.0.0019, if someone have any idea...That's all:

jirr@deskbox:~/Desktop/PCSX2/Pcsx2_0.9.4_Source/Linux$ ./pcsx2

Slide, I'm seeing the same thing. In fact I've just upgraded from FC6 to Fedora 8, using the newest nVidia 169.09 drivers and the 2.6.23.15 kernel. I receive the same error popup and my zerogs log stops at the same place every time.

ZeroGS: Disabling MRT depth writing

At first I thought it was something to do with my processor not having SSE2 support, but if you're running an Intel p4, that cannot be the issue. I will have to start looking elsewhere to find the cause.

BTW, zerofrog, thank you for the excellent debug in the plugin logs. It definately shows me that the libraries are loading correctly.

No, thats not CPU related. Its video card related. What is your video card brand and model?

It's included in the PCSX2 0.9.4 release package and you can also download it separately from the download section of the pcsx2 site

It's a GeForce 5600 and does have PS 2.0, so I thought it would be okay. I am running it to a TV, could my xorg.conf settings have anything to do with it not working?
