Hi. everybody I am new here. I just found out psx2 yesterday. Anyways, I have been trying to play with some of the options in both the ZeroGS 0.95 plugin and with Gsdx9. For the ZeroGS plugin I am using the non SSE2 one. The problem I am having is that I am running Naruto ultimate ninja on it, and the game is displaying graphical errors on the ingame menus and the characters themselves don't display. The icons by the characters display and the background images flicker, like the errors I keep getting. The errors on the in game menus look like the errors are jumping in from the left side of the screen, or top left corner. While trying to play the same errors appear, along with the characters not showing. My specs are as follows: Athlon xp 2100+ (1.73 ghz) 768 megs or DDR 2700. X1300pro (ATI brand) Driver ver. 8.273 Soundblaster Audigy 2 zs Windows XP home -SP2- It's hard to tell from the 2 pics I have but the errors jump in and out. It's hard to describe, but I'm sure you guys have seen these kinds of errors too. **edit: sorry for the pics being so big, I'm not really that good with linking pics in forums. I don't do it too often. Last edited by General Plot; August 15th, 2006 at 10:42. |

For starters, use the attachment feature next time. Also, this isn't a new bug. It's known by the developers as SPS (for spikey plolygons) and is very common in many games, though it is getting improved. For now, the only thing you can do is wait for a new release and see if it's been fixed.

Hello everyone, sadly i've been wandering on this very same forum for quite some time... over years.... ![]() i was looking for the good news when finally FFX is playable on PS2 emulator which i recently did found and this site and i so finally had to register hoping i might get some help around here, so please if possiable do help :P I was trying to run a Final Fantasy X - I have it in a DvD rom and wanted to play it on the PS2 Emulator, I downloaded the latest version of the PCSX2 Installer off the site and all the plugins provided their that i might thought have been usefull, like Graphic Plugins, Pad plugins ,etc ,etc. Well after doing all these and prepared all the stuffs required i finally ran the emulator but after alittle hours of configuration testing i managed to see just a screen of the logo - SquareNix i have some other games on dvd so tried them all one by one including Shadow Heards, Dirge Of Cerberus, Shining Force Neo the only game that i managed to run well was Shining Force Neo, though i haven't played it yet i just saw the intro movies in it (had to leave out). But after i came back i tried messing some more into it and got FFX working everything was going fine, i noticed that ZeroGS plugin increased the speed quite greatly when i was using - the only thing wrong was Screen going up & down, but other then as soon as i reached the menu screen where i either goto choose a save from the memory card or start a new game i selected the option to Start a new game and after 4-5 seconds the game crashed and everything disappeared. My Computer specifications might not be too good but do let me know if thats the problem too as i'm willing to upgrade my pc too play this game just once ![]() PC Specifications are : Intel Pentium 3 - 866 MHZ 192 MB SDRAM Nvidia GeForce 5200 My card supports Pixel Shader upto 2+ PRO's please help me, i'm a big fan of Final Fantasy Games also RPG's and really want to play this game have been waiting very very very.....long

there is no way you could play the FFX on this version of Emu with your current rig at acceptable framerate. Do yourself a favor and buy a used PS2 console. I can run it a 35 fps but at the first dialog it locks up. One thing is that the game is playable , resp it goes ingame the second thing is that you can end the game with the currect version, which I doub. |

your graphic card is old and it doesn't support shadersv2.0. so you can't use ZeroGS. you should use GSDX9 but you must select shadersv1.1 instead of shadersv2.0 when you're using this plugin. for your information the cards that I mentioned below support shaders v1.1. so you can only use GSDX9. Geforce 3 ti series Geforce 4 ti series (4200/4400/4600/4800) Radeon 8500/9000/9200/9250 (shaders v1.4) the cards that I mentioned below support shaders v2.0 or v3.0. so you can use both GSDX and ZeroGS. Geforce fx series Geforce 6 series Geforce 7 series Radeon 9500/9550/9600/9700/9800 Radeon X series |

Hello Zerofrog. Helping Jonc2006 I discovered a software called 3D analyse which can emulate PS 2.0 an 3.0 on less recent cards (even on a TNT 2).Of course it sometimes results on graphics glitches and like the program is also an emulator it takes on CPU power. But do you think this program could help people who don't have recent cards as your plugin requires PS 2.0? Last edited by RedLion; October 19th, 2006 at 21:18. |
