Wow this is great. Everything looks so smooth and is running *MUCH* faster than GSSoft ever did on my machine - and that's the thing, this is only an old 1600 Athlon with GeForce4! With sound! Im amazed. Any way to know the frame rate im getting? One problem: although its running v. fast (for this machine) the buttons have no response ive reconfigured the pad but no luck, any ideas?

Super Bust a Move [PBPX 95201] Card = GeForce4 MX 440 Drivers = DX9.0b / ForceWare 56.64 Direct 3D Settings:
Res = 1024x768 (using my own program to resize window (not window content)) Runs damn'd fast, for a few moments it ran at 72 FPS!! though in-game was about 7 FPS and the rest of the game about 30 FPS.

Quite Obviously a 2D game ;P Beats of Rage is a Public Domain game produced by using graphics from Streets of Rage and King of Fighters.

Guilty Gear X As you can see there is a problem with the graphics showing properly. Also there is nothing shown ingame unless you hold down End (it doesn't run smooth, it seems to skip a lot of frames to try to catch up with the rendering), and it doesn't run at 45fps.

Right a few of things... 1 I cant test the plugin itself because my computer doesnt like PCSX2 sp everytime I try to load it, it crashes before anything happens 9I have tried redowloading it and different plugins but nothing). But this looks promising. I didnt know that PS2 emulators will be able to play PS1 roms. I still dont know but from judging by the snapshots of some BIOS screens people seem to get the PS1 logo come up. BEATS OF RANGE... THAT IS THE BEST HOMEBREW GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY EMU BASED LIFE.

The PS1 logo is part of the BIOS screen as the PS2 supports PSOne games, that logo was not produced from testing a PSOne game! ![]() PSOne ROMS? erm no, PS1 CD's or PS1 ISOs. They didn't have roms, roms are chips of Read Only Memory, eg consoles like the SNES, NES, Mega Drive.

Very nice shots people. Some of them raised a few questions. Every bios I tested has different look from my own in my real ps2 machine (pal, 30004R, V5 I think), the cubes on the opening screen mainly. It looks all the same even with CKemu's freshly dumped bios. Han-mut: How were you able to pass the loading screen? It stops responding to keypresses there for me. If I just leave the main title screen for a minute, a demo loads with a battle scene ![]() About the rendering speed, I'm afraid there isn't much room for improvement left. The bottleneck is either the high number of vertices, in this case pcsx2 itself is slow, or the constant reloading of the textures in a stupid way what only the bandwith of a real ps2 can tolerate in real time. Good example is the beginning of wild arms where each character is uploaded one by one onto the top left corner of a 1024x1024 texture before being rendered, this basically instructs the plugin to reupload the whole texture several times there, making it crawl like a turtle. Another one is the plasm tunnel demo, only two textures used but they are overwriting eachother in every frame. |

During my testing I have found several games that do not work, yet work under GSmax / GSsoft: Street Fighter EX3 WTA Tennis (can't now go in-game) Police 24/7 Also I cannot get 'Carshowroom" to run (by sjeep). Obviously your plugin has many un-implimented features, But I do note that FFX's intro shows more under your plugin, though the image (see FFXdemo shots) is too bright. Also under SBaM whilst the game runs, with a few odd glitches (main menu / borders around textures) the characters / bubbles do not show in-game, thus rendering it fast / pretty, but un-playable. Fantastic work on your part I must say, greatly impressed, and to the general users out there, this is what a 'legit' project looks and reads like, genuine evidence, work, no "I coded 20 lines of C++ OMG LOL WTF ME EMU AUTHOR ME L££T!!!!!!1211!1!11".
