Perfect Dark and Memory pack

When I load up PD on PJ 1.4 It asks me to make a name, but when I do it gives me two options - delete files or cancel. It thinks I dont have a memory pack, how do I fix this?

EDIT: Fixed the problem, but the game runs slow on my 1gig...what are the best settings for this game?

u can change the CF counters once the game has loaded, go to rom settings in the options menu and change the CF tgo like somwthing higher, then reset the rom, and it should be faster. not quite sure wat CFs work best, once emu talk is up again ill find out.

i use perfect dark with 1964.0.7.1 and azaimar's 0.30 REV2.2, much much smoother (constant 60vi/s) although sounds sitll aint up to pj64 style.

Actually all the needs to be done is select mempack and unselect raw data. Otherwise you'll have games complaining there is no Memory pack.
