Ok, I'm still trying to understand everything that going wrong, but if you still can't get PJ64 to work, follow these steps:

1. Uninstall your previous version of PJ64 1.6.
2. Restart your computer and reinstall PJ64 1.6.
3. Go ahead and start up PJ64 and make sure that you set your plugin directory to the plugin folder (where you installed PJ64). Make sure that your setup looks like the second picture below.
4. Make sure that you Plugins tab also looks like the one pictured below.

The PJ64 installer off of the pj64.net website has everything that you need to get started except for the games of course (we can't and will not help you obtain those ). So, after you've installed it and made sure your plugins are configured properly, you're good to go. If there is anything else that you could use assistance with, go ahead and throw some more questions out in the air!

Quick question:
What kind of computer do you have? Whats your video card, processor, etc? Do you have the latest drivers installed as well as the latest Direct X version? I'm not really sure why you would get an error...PJ64 contains all of the files that it needs to run... I'll try jumping on AIM a little later if you still can't fix your problem... I'm off to classes at the moment.

Edit:
I'm running AIM now...SN is GaveUpTomorrow Message me if you'd like some help.
