Does this game always have a framerate problem? I can't seem to find a way to get it to run better then 40-45 fps. This is the only game i haven't been able to get a constant 60.
I find it interesting the framerate goes from 40 to 70 if i unlimit the frames. But still bogs down at unusual times.

p4 1.8 1gb ram radeon 9600 xt 128 mb. Majora's mask runs perfectly though. Not quite sure why only this game doesn't; could you tell me what plugins your using for that game and settings? Also, does it run better at certain resolution settings? Do you use omega drivers?

The removal of omega drivers absolutely screwed my pc over, idk wtf happened I worked on the problem for awhile (windows says its missing files to install a standard ati vga driver and doesn't say which file) so I took it out of my system, going to try a geforce 4 ti 4400 i have kicking about.

I have heard Omega drivers sometimes mess with your computer ... i guess your one of the unlucky one's

Btw.Before you do. go to the ati control panel -- adapter - properties - driver - Rollback driver

tried that >< says can't find correct .sys file, got my other card in now, seems to run it actually smoother, as for a bit lower of framerate it looks like maybe its somehow limiting the game to 50 fps cap... could it just be from another region causing it? (not sure if it matters)

hehe thats my main problem, no cd. Without that I can't install a standard vga driver for my ati card, if i could get that done i could install an updated one.

So next thing i need to do is get a ntsc version of it because it looks pal, 1964 says running at 50/ V at most times, drops a bit though.

yea i just got that one myself, same deal, its actually more noticable on the ntsc version, 1964's framerate is actually higher and more consistant but it has texture/color and sound issues so... Not going to bother with that one.
