Majora's Mask weirdness.
Okay...I can't seem to get it working nicely. For each graphics plugin, something is wrong: Glide64 - missing marks on walls, textures appear infront of things that they are meant to be behind, shadows seen through walls. glN64 - perfect, except I can't see menus. >>;; Only plugin that does spin-attack flare properly. Jabo's - mostly okay. Menu's a bit broken (doesn't seem to clear properly, and everything stays and gets superimposed for a while). Rice's - lots of crappy stuff. No idea how to configure it. Anyone know what I should try to tweak to get things working properly? I think Jabo's or Glide are my best bet. Thanks. (The big list of games and stuff didn't seem to help, because I'm stupid) If you ask for specs, do say how I can find them out. I'm a moron ._. |

I use the one it comes with, but it still screws up, like Banjo Tooie. For me, it screws up in cutscenes, the FPS lowers ALOT before the day changes, and the screen gets smaller as the day changes.

Screen is supposed to get smaller as the day changes (although the garbage that appears in the border is a video plugin issue). As N64 graphics emulation is HLE, every effect has to be simulated manually. This means that pretty much no plugin can be perfect in every game. You have to basically trade off the various issues by using a plugin that has the least intrusive errors. |
