Post N Rage slowdown

N rage has a very slow response time on my machine. The buttons are fine, but the mouse responds slowly (and I know its not a problem with the mouse) Is there a way to manually speed it up or is this a known issue? (or is this just me?

Just change the mouse sensitivity under device settings when editting pad plugin settings.
