Optimal joypad config?
Hello, I like the N64 console, even though I never owned any Nintendo console before (but the Wii will hopefully be the first! ), and I was wondering what's the best way to emulate its joypad layout for a PS2 Dual Shock controller? (yes I have one of those USB adapters). I want to play FPS titles (e.g. Goldeneye), and Star Fox 64.. I'd be hard-pressed to track down a used Dreamcast in my region, let alone a N64 and games! My adapter allows either the D-pad or the analog sticks, but no combination of both. So what's the best way to configure it in Project 64? Many thanks!

Joypad stuff
I think you should first install N-range's pad plugin LINK-->http://www.ngemu.com/n64/plugins/win...-83_Source.zip This should be very helpfull for your Joystick.(Just remember to insert the joysick in your computer before you open up PJ64. Here is a saved config. of my conroller(see attachments) -just extract it any where in your PJ64 file... As for configuring both Anolog and D-pad, N-range's plugin can support MODs for that... Hope this helps! |
