Goldeneye Freezing

Well see here's the thing, after I play Goldeneye for several minutes (usually after I complete one level and try to move on to the next) the game freezes.

It's usually fairly faithful about doing this and I've checked around and I'm not sure what the problem is and I did a search of the forum and didn't see anything.

Thanks in advance for any help and if you need any additional information I'll be glad to provide it.

does it freeze at the same location? or just randomly?

have you tried 1964 and/or some different plugins?

Usually about the same place, I'll complete a level and then either at the very beginning or a few seconds into the next level it will freeze.

Also, I tried 1964 and Goldeneye's graphics are distorted on it so I guess I'll just test some different plugins for PJ64.

Sorry for the double post but I have a new problem with Goldeneye and didn't want to waste space with another thread. But anyway, since I got a new hard drive for my PC and got it back up and running, I've been doing most of my "heavy duty" emulating on the PC.

I have all the problems worked out in Goldeneye except one thing: It won't render the sky. I've tryed all other plugins but the only one that works perfectly is Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 and it just has that one problem. My specs are in my sig and I hope it's not the card thats doing this because there's not alot I can do about that right now..

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help.
