Zelda Majora's Mask Save problem
I just finished beating the second temple, (the ice one, after collecting all fairies as well) and I exited out after saving with both the emulator and the natural way in the game. When I next started the emulation I found myself in Clock Town on the first day, and even more, it sent me back to before I had the goron mask! Can anyone help me? thanks Andrew |

did you load any other savestates right before finding yourself at day one? did you load the right profile? did the "natural way in the game" referr to the owls? if you loaded a savestate you might have accidentally done an action (like "song of time") that led to saving the game, or maybe loading an earlier savestate reverts the zelda mm save back to the one it was when that savestate was made. saving with the owls only allows you to load once and then it reverts to the previous song of time save. |

it was that one time you loaded it it was messed up? or the one time after that? i guess the one time you loaded it :P very strange, i've experienced that sometimes while playing ff9 on epsxe (1.5.2 and 1.6.0 alike) that suddenly when i only made a savestate and never loaded it the saves reverted back to those that were with that savestate the second time i played ff9 again after that. Perhaps this goes for Pj64 as well, but i constantly make backup saves with savestates when i play OOT and i never get that problem, never used savestates on MM much though. |
