Then what is everyone talking about on here? What type of emulation is legal then. I am new at this and thought if you owned the game and system it was ok. I can delete them, I just didn't know, but what is legal that everyone on here talks about. I see they have questions about many other games on project 64 which is a ROM player. If there is a legal way (which I didn't know it was illegal) I would like to find out.

Thanks

Thanks, I will check that out. The last thing I want to do is be illegal. It just isn't worth it. I am just curious to what emulation and roms are good for if they are illegal to make? So why do we need any of this if everything to do with them is illegal? I will read this site and see what else I can find and appreciate the help.

The only ROMS you are entitled to have is the ones you own. And by that I mean dumped from YOUR catridge, not someone elses off the internet.

Basicly, we don't want to know where you got your ROMS, its better to keep that to yourself. Badly dumped games are often the source of MANY problems.

Also make sure to read our rules. It'll help you avoid future problems. Enjoy your stay here

As Chrono says; aside from that, there are some legal roms available on the net, like from this site for example: http://www.pdroms.de/
