you can configure any controller for project 64 provided that windows recognizes it as a joystick. Go into the controller setup in PJ64 to config it.

i did it recognizes the adapter i think cause on the controller setup GAME DEVICE: DEADZONE OF 20% TIGERGAME PS/PS2 CONTROLLER but it wont let me configure it. the controller is not moving. only the mouse so when i click on the analog selection on L it puts rz+ automatically and when i click on the ohers a window pops up sayin sorry the input selection is already made. hope anyone gets whats im sayin, if do know whats the deal?? thanks

unless your controller is kind of crappy I'd move the deadzone a little smaller. Mine is set to 2% for reference. Based on what you are telling me, You need to calibrate your joystick. It's popping up that "rz+" automatically because one of your joysticks is screwed up. There's a way via windows to do so, but I can't find it for mine. Try the game controllers menu in control panel.
