N64 screen cropping
Does the N64 crop like all of it's games a bit? A lot of my N64 ROMs run zoomed out from the N64 counter-parts (PJ64 1.6 btw, works great) and some games have black boarders. I'm guessing that this extra space is cut out on a real N64 and is never meant to be seen. The black boarders look ugly in some games and sometimes glitches occur in games that have no boarders. Is there some setting out there that zooms in the game so you don't see what you're not meant to?

The black bars and border garbage are the overscan areas that would normally be hidden beyond the edges of your television screen. The Direct64 plugin has an option to simulate overscan, but it's not without its problems. Beyond that, the only "fix" is to play fullscreen and use your monitor controls to stretch the image.
