Here

Mario Tennis:use Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5 plug-in,
go to advanced tab, enable force normal blending
and force depth compare and that should fix your problem

Rice's latest GPU plugin does a great job with Mario Tennis.. I've only used the DX Pixel Shader combiner, so I don't know how it'll run with anything else.. if your card supports PS, you should be fine.

OpenGL mode works better in Mario Tennis than DirectX....seems to be alot less pauses, but it doesn't render the special sprites (doesn't matter really, they're surrounded by black boxes anyways)
