Ow, why Turok1 crashes once in a while?

Just when I forgot to savestate it, it crashes... I changed to protect memory(guess that's it what's called) and it got more stable and shown the zooming effect when entering a teleporter or a portal, but still crashes... using jabo's set of plugs, specs on profile, any help?

if im right turok 1 is broke in 1.3 (try 1.2 but it didnt work as well), although i think theres a savestate available that gets past that point where it crashes. u could try checking 'disable register caching' and/or use the interpreter just to get past that point, then savestate it and return to your previous settings.
