Zelda Ocarina Of Time Problems

I apologize if this has already been posted but I don't really feel like searching through threads to find out what the problem is

Anyways my problem is whenever I run into a house and the beginning or right before the boss in The Great Deku Tree the game just turns pitch black and thats the end of it

Im running:

Pentium 4 2.6ghz
Geforce 2 MX 400 64mb
512 mb of ram

Also Im using Project 64 version 1.5 and installed the Service Pack

As was said at emutalk. Your problem (I had the same with the first one I had) is that it's likely corrupt. Use Goodn64 to scan your rom to see if it's good. Then have it rename it.
