Direct 3d Slowdown on my Radeon

Ok, the problem is this:

Whenever I tried Direct 3d based plugin like Jabos or Glide64 with eVoodoo every game I've played has major slowdown, the status bar said 20 fps or so but the game runs like slide-show mode (with or without AA or AF)

But when I tried running glN64 0.41 everything is as smooth as it should be.

Specs on my sig....

And i think the problem is my radeon, 'cause i got the problem since my Radeon 8500. Before that i was using GF2MX, it ran all plugins quite nice albeit with a low resolution.

Edit: Problem also occurs with 1964 0.85

Re: Direct 3d Slowdown on my Radeon

Could be a Direct X only thing, so maybe a reinstall of DX9.0b could help. Perhaps updating graphics card drivers or rolling back to previous cats could help. It should be fullspeed, unless you are playing some of the less-well emulated games.

Re: Direct 3d Slowdown on my Radeon

Didamangi, I can't reproduce any of those issues with my R8500, tested both Jabo's and Glide64 (+eVoodoo).

Re: Direct 3d Slowdown on my Radeon

I reinstall my omega drivers (Cat 3.9) and the problem is fix
Thanks [Clements].

Badaro, I don't know why but this has happen to me earlier with my 8500, now with my 9600 pro it has happen again, I'm glad it's fix now tho.

But alas I'll stick with glN64, 2xSAI looks great, here's some sshots (6xAA, 16xAF @ 1024x768)
