I can't get paper mario to work. i tried the default video plugin and the game plays all choppy and has tons of flickering. Someone said that glide 64 plugin stops the flickering but it didnt do anything for me. I have a radeon video card and 1.3 ghz so the game shouldnt be running choppy. The game wont load with glN64 and jabos opengl plugin either. Does anyone know a plugin that will play this game smoothly without any flickering, or another emulator that will play it properly?

Re: Paper Mario
Either use Glide64 0.42 in conjunction with the eVoodoo 3.99 Beta wrapper, setting the buffer swap method in the Glide64 config to 'hybrid' Or use Rice's Daedalus 5.10d with the Frame update to 'At the first CI Change' and turn off frameskip. I recommend the Glide64 method personally. |

Re: Paper Mario
Are you using the most updated version of evoodoo? are you using the newest version of Glide64 (0.42)? If none of them work for you, and you ARE using the newest glide64 and evoodoo combo then you are out of luck - sorry. Nemu64 may display less flickering than PJ64 (I have heard this but not confirm,ed it) and may make the game *more* playable. |
