Re: the best n64 plug in
All games that appear green in the RDB, use Jabo's plugin 90% of the time. If yellow, consider using a third party plugin. Use Jabo's DirectSound- it is the best sound plugin for a decent speed PC. Jabo's graphics plugin is slowly being trounced by other plugins, game-by-game, so keep an eye on them.

Re: the best n64 plug in
Put them in your plugin folder, and switch them via the Options>Settings menu. The most played online is currently Super Smash Bros. It is a good multiplayer game.
Edit: You should try PJ64K, as the compatibility is high using netplay. |

Re: the best n64 plug in
A few games don't work with netplay like Goldeneye and others. Try them out, as netplay is a new feature and the compatibility is not fully known.

Re: the best n64 plug in
I found that too. Mainly because the default ini file for Nemu is very bad and the debugger is like a barrier to 99% of people. It also hated my system ie. took up all my system resources, whereas I can open multiple windows with PJ without my system freezing. I'd stick with PJ64K personally for Netplay.

Re: the best n64 plug in
If you want smoother video, turn on the AA and AF functions. If you are already doing so and it's not good enough, glNintendo64() with 2XSAI and Bilinear filtering with do the trick. It doesn't work with as many games as Jabo's yet (although the next release has a major increase in compatibility since I beta test the plugin.) As for choppyness, you shouldn't really have any, try syncing the game to audio, or using an Azimer plugin.
