Question Problems in Conker's Bad Fur Day, pronto!

well, first problem. conker's head is WHITE! i read the game manual and it says it's becoz of low comp spec (see my spec in signature below). so any way to color my conker red? any solution, idea or *tink*

second, when i use jabo dx6 1.5 plugin, i cannot capture the screenshot (using F3) when the gameplay went into the *talking* or should i say FMV (not really FMV)...the screenshot i get is TOTALLY BLACK...but there's no problem with DX7 1.4

but...with DX7 1.4, conker's eyes got this funny line thing...so graphic not good...

HELP ME!

Your graphics card may be to blame. Or your comp spec. It might be a combination. Since Conker is a 512 Mbit Cart Dump, It is harder on the PC to emulate. But your computer isnt really THAT slow......so idk. I cant help you. Ive never had that problem because my old comp was WAYWAYWAY to slow and my new one is very fast. Wish I could help you out.

Heya navilink

Here's some (2) ideas. My voodoo 5 displays his head as white (*WHEN USING DIRECTX*, not glide ) also.

You could try and use the newest Daedulus plugin (it crashes my Voodoo5, so I don't know if uit will help you), and you could try and use Glide64 with evoodoo (that is probably your best bet - I am pretty sure that the Glide plugin will give you the right colours ).

With the screenshot thing, try using the [PRNTSCRN] button on your keyboard and see if that works. If it doesn't than a screen-grabbig utility might be an alternative for you(download.com has a good selection IIRC).

If your rig can run Zelda without link's clothing being white than it most certainly can handle Conker's BFD (which is a great game BTW ) with the proper colouring.

Good luck

- felinusz

whatever it might be, i don't think my cpu or ram cause this...maybe the graphic card...IT IS i believe.

ya, felinusz i did use PrintScreen but that was too difficulty, must stop game, fire up paintbrush, paste and save...i want to take a lot of cool ss so that maybe i can open up a new thread of CBFD ss.

This is a known problem for pj64, and there is no fix for it yet

Re: Problems in Conker's Bad Fur Day, pronto!

Conker's head is proiperly coloured for me when I use my GeForce 2, and when I use Glide64 with my GeForce 2 and Voodoo 5. So f you mean that his head is *always* white then you are wrong. If you mean that his head is white when using a video card like Navilink's then you *might* be right, but I still think that Navilink should really try the Glide64 plugin before giving up (*hint* to navilink ).
