Re: the best n64 emulator?
both pj64 and 1964 are concidered the "best". 1964 is faster, while pj64 is more compatible.
Which one is the "best" depends on what you want from it.

Re: the best n64 emulator?
u can get it here http://pj64.emulation64.com/iedefault.htm
if u want to get Jabo's D3D7 1.40 plug-in u need to download PJ64 1.4 |

Re: the best n64 emulator?
Oh, and ignore the 'Use Jabo's D3D7 1.40.' When that version of 1964 was released, that was most up to date version. Since then, 1.5 and 1.5.1 have been released. Use 1.5.1 instead, as 1.40 has problems with various games (like Majora's Mask and PD in particular) You can get 1.5.1 in the link yeloazndevil provided.

I'm getting about 250-300 fps on all the smaller game dumps..... i.e. Mario 64, Armymen, and Goldeneye >>by the way, cool name (ROMstein) Thanks

I think that if you use pj64 with a pretty regular pc ( BY TODAYS STANDARD ) there is really not a speed issue anymore. |

). I have one and it was worth the money - I also use it for SNES, GBA, etc., etc. ![]() There is no *best* N64 emulator at the moment - they all have different plusses and minuses to offer you . With a full library of Bideo and Sound Plugins, and all four of the "big" N64 emulators you should be able to play most (good) games near flawlessly.Quote:

Re: the best n64 emulator?
>>You can only get the D3D 7 plugin bundled with Project 64 version 1.4. I think that it is available in NGEmu's emulator archive
If i'm not mistaken, it also comes with the newest PJ64k also |

I prefer using 1964. Most of my games run just fine in 1964, without too many bugs that I can't solve.
![]() Project64 might be my second choice, but i've been playing with the latest version of Mupen64, and it is running great as well. ![]() r2rX
