Re: Problem with Donkey Kong 64
What a weird error message
. Have you checked to see if the ROM is good with GoodN64? It is essentially a scanner that looks at your ROM and tells you if it there is anything wrong with it. If you find that the ROm is good (I don't think that it is) than try another N64 emulator and see what that does. Your system specifications would be usefull also

Re: Problem with Donkey Kong 64
Crazy error messages... I find that the game is unplayably slow with any plugin but Glide64, so you aren't missing much - just to make you feel better before
![]() First of all you should try another N64 emulator like 1964 or Nemu64. Also, the new copy may be the same as the old one - so you should really scan them both with GoodN64. Trying a different graphics plugin might be worth a shot also - the Daedalus plugin is a good bet for an alternative. All of this stuff is available from www.ngemu.com/n64 . You should also try playing it with no sound, and with Wireframe Rasterization (Which is enabled within Jabo's D3D Plugin under the advanced options). If you still are having problems trying the Glide64 plugin with a glide wrapper like evoodoo is worth your time also. Good luck. |
