Re: PJ 64 Online?

I believe that the emulator is called 'Project 64k' and uses 'Kaillara' or somesuch (haven't had time to try it recently). Doing a google on either of those keywords or visiting www.emulation64.com will turn up more informtaion for you.

Good luck

Re: PJ 64 Online?

When did PJ 64 get online? The only N64 emu I heard of using Kaillara was Nemu 0.8 if I'm not mistaken.

Re: PJ 64 Online?

As felinusz said, a modification to the Pj64 source is being done called Project64k. It uses the kalliera client just like nemu8 to do this. Search the download/news database for it.

just letting everybody know that i managed to get project64k up and running and i'm having tons of fun playing smash brothers online so check it out if your looking for some competition. there are some downsides though, PJ64K is based on 1.4 and not 1.5 and forces you to use a crappy sound plugin and suffers from some online lag issues but is still fun none the less. now if only they released PJ64 1.6 with netplay......

i'm not sure about project64k but a service pack for PJ64 1.5 was just released so even though it's not 1.6 i guess it means somebody's still working on it.

Yes, Smiff was finishing up the RDB with even more game settings. For example, the Blast Corps Map doesn't have that annoying message that appears, Master Quest has been added and so on. The help has been extended for certain games. Smiff also hinted more service packs, but they will be minor updates.

The actual emulator itself and Jabo's plugins are the same, unchanged, apart from the updated graphics plugin (1.5.1) that fixes pause issues and breaks Pilotwings. The emulator itself is discontinued, with the 1.4 source being released, which is being utilised by hotquik the author of Project64k to add Netplay support.
