Cool Jabo D3D6 vs Jabo D3D7 vs Daedalus 4.x.x

OK, which one is cooler, which emulates better and if can, include pictures to prove it...

The 'coolest' one would have to be Daedalus... Try for yourself and you will se that Jabo's D3D6 1.5 is the best looking and fastest over the widest range of games.

Althought he Daedalus has some neat features I find it isn't as compatible and fasta s Jabo's D3D6... D3D7 is a shaky plugin at best and (for me at least) causes some weird errors and borders that don't appear with any other plugin.

Use Glide64, it is IMHO one of the best N64 emulation video plufgins at the moment ('best' referring to speed, compatibility, and nice-looking-ness. And I'm talking Voodoo and glide-wrapper users alike here, not just Voodoo owners).

I have no idea. It just is? You would have to find someone who knows about the finer technical details behind it.

I guess glide is so good for n64 emulation coz first good n64 emu uhle was based on glide.

Anyway these days all plugins are progressing well, jabo's gives good results if you have a decent enough video card .

Glide is simple and thus is fast.

in what way is it simple?
this might be hard to explain and i might not understand it but... =)
well, if it is so darn fast then why does none of the never cards
support it? lack of features?
ah, a glide wrapper is a glide-emulator or am i wrong?

Glide is lacking in featres yes.It was designed for on specific type of card, and thus was very fast. A wrapper is an emulator yes, but more of an HLE.

I really disagree about this. IMO, icepir8's TR64 OpenGL plugin is quite good, and so is Rice's Daedalus. They may not have such high compatibility as Jabo's, but they are still under development and progressing quite fast.
