The Mystical Ninja -fps problem

Hey

I tried lately to play The Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon but it runs very slowly, I know that this game is hard to emulate because I tired this 1-2 years ago. Did any plugin or Emu fixed that problem now? I wonder that if your character stands still, the fps runs perfect, but if you move and camera moves too, it goes very slow.

Plz Help

I have to admit, I've never tried that game on emulation before (don't own it)...
Do you have the latest version of PJ64? Depends on how good your computer specs are (they recommend 1grz min). Most n64 games are working well nowadays.

Well, I don't have that ROM (It's a rare one no? ) but you could try using daedalus, glide, or the OGL plugions as they *may* increase your FPS marginally. Glide 64 is definetely worth a try for this sort of thing.

Good luck with that.

Yeah, I tried this one, but I get a error that a dll file was not found, I'm using a Geforce 4 so I may not able to use this one :/

The daedelus and nemu plugins work faster but they give pretty severe glitches.

Have you tried 1964? They tend to update their emu more frenquently (espically since PJ64 is discontinued ), so the game *could* be compatible with that emu.

This is not my day ...no, no, no ...not my day

Hm, I wonder, I got 2 errors with different Emu, just Nemu runs normal with it, but great that they fix it anyway

That stupid DLL really hurts the number of Glide64 users...

You have to use a glide wrappper to use this plugin. Download 'evoodoo' from www.ngemu.com/n64 and use it.

Evoodoo comes with the DLL (glide3x.dll) that you need.

If the error messages persist simply copy this DLL and rename it to the one the error message is asking for. (I think it's GLIDE3X.dll or oglide3x.dll). This worked for me as strange as it sounds.

I think this may be a Nvidia-user-only error (having to rename the DLL).

Good luck with that.
