Zelda: Ocarina of Time Zelda: Majora's Mask (Zelda are not fully RPG, it was like 80% action/adventure and 20% RPG. If you don't play Zelda, you're missing the greatest invention since electric and phone )Banjo Kazooie Beetle Adventure Racing Blast Corps F-Zero X Goldeneye International Star Soccer Perfect Dark Super Mario 64 Super Smash Bros Wave Race 64 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and other I cannot remember...

1. Conker's Bad Fur Day (the greatest game for N64) 2. Zelda OoT 3. Zelda MM 4. Banjo-Kazooie 5. Mario 64 The rest of the good games: (in no particular order )Donkey Kong 64 (it's overdone but hey) Xtreme G F-Zero X Mario Kart 64 Rocket:Robot on wheels (really great, good luck finding this rare, rare ROM however) Super Smash Bros. Star Fox 64 1080 Snowboarding (it's fun even if they snowboard all wrong; counter-rotated, they never ollie they just pop, they carve all wrong, there is no flexion/extension, the tricks are limiting, there are no rails, etc. I'm rambling so I'll stop now as you can see I really like snowboarding )Goldeneye Perfect Dark Tony Hawk 1, 2, 3 Mario Party 1, 2, 3 Kirby 64 Ogre Battle 64 Those are my personal favourites The large majority of N64 games are 3D platformers. |

Only game I ever liked on N64 was Wave Race. That game had amazing water physics at that time.

>Golden Eye has got to be the best N64 game ever, if not one of the best console games ever! Especially the multiplayer! The only reason Goldeneye was any good was for MP. the single player was unbelievably sucky. Give me a keyboard and mouse any day of the week. Even then there are far superior MP games on consoles.

Aerogauge? Never heard of it... :/ With N64 games few of them were *great* so you never heard about new ones unless they were highly hyped up and publicised. Did you notice that none of the 'good' games are made by small companies? Of all the consoles N64 definetly had one of the worst game selections and one of the most subdued group of game developers. |

I just got into N64 emulation about two days ago. So, this is my first post here... I've found this Forum very, very helpful (via the 'Search' function) for troubleshooting my various PJ64 emulator and plugin problems. The N64 had a decent library for it, like 350+ titles, but only about 40 of them were what I would consider must-plays. 1. Mario Kart 64 (multiplayer was fantastic, particularly Battle) 2. Zelda: Majora's Mask / Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3. Conker's Bad Fur Day 4. Snowboard Kids (again, for multiplayer) 5. Starfox 64 (first game I ever bought for the N64) 6. Diddy Kong Racing 7. Banjo-Kazooie/ Banjo-Tooie 8. Super Mario 64 9. Perfect Dark 10. F-Zero X |

I have to agree with Aleksei that Zelda OoT is the best zelda for N64 but it was somewhat short.... I didn't really like MM as it didn't have so big sceneries and it was way really small Aerogauge was a racing game for N64.... featured great lighting effects and was very fast and brilliant it was based on a futuristic theme.... didn't really have and background story, so the only thing you would do is just race ad that's all..... but it is a great game, just a littl hard to get used to (because of the speed) |
