For some reason goldeneye eats up way more resources than other n64 games. conker work fine and dandy for me. I am not sure if the textures are static like many other games. I will look into it a little more

no matter what "goood" plugin u use, you still get slow with goldeneye. Maybe u should try 1964 emulator, it's (a bit) faster than PJ64.

even with my pc specs Golden Eye has slowdowns, but most of the slowdown is gone when I use Nemu64 0.8, But I still get the slowdown many times during the game

O.K. I guess I'll just post what I use to run these games...

CONKER's BFD

Jabo's D3D 6 1.5 video (default settings, resoloution up to you)
Azimer's AUDIO 0.40 BETA (WIP)
N-Rage Input
This gives me perfect performance. No lag at all.

Goldeneye

Glide64 0.31 (with evoodoo) (seems to run faster than with other plugins, although it doesn't seem to work on all systems for some reason)
use default settings, but set evoodoo to use a small window, NOT FULLSCREEN preferably 800x600, but use lower if neccesary
Azimer's AUDIO 0.40 BETA (WIP
N-Rage Input

This gives me semi-playable perfromance, although there is a speed discrepency between sound and graphics. FPS anywhere from 45 to full 60 FPS depending on whats happening in-game.

I don't know if the lag is caused by lack of processor power overall or by people with crap video cards like me...

In the next (and final) release of 1964, Goldeneye should get a nice speed up. This is because 1964 has two cores, a 32bit dyna core and a 64bit dyna core. The second one is much slower, but has higher compatibility. Some games requires the 64bit core in version 0.8.5, but schibo said that they will work in the 32bit core in the next version. The games schibo listed are: Perfect Dark, San Francisco RUSH, RUSH 2, Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, most Turok Games, and probably others.
