Zelda OoT and MM

I happen to have found a few cosmetic issues with Jabo's Direct3D 6 1.5 plugin (a * is placed besides ones fixed by Direct3D 7 1.4):

*1. When I open up treasure boxes, they don't have that "glow" texture when they open, instead having a transparent black rectangle.

*2. Also, in MM, when I use the Song of Soaring, the wings that appear are completely white (no textures) and when they wrap around Link they immediately disappear three seconds before the warp. Also, after the warp, the sphere that is supposed to appear doesn't.

3. MM also doesn't show ice over water when it should, and some polygons appear black.

4. Overlapping snow texture at Snowhead is interlaced vertically (very, very strange), happens in some other areas as well.

*5. Some small textures (e.g., effects for wings, big fireballs like moon crashing into Termina) show black outlines. Usually very noticeable at large distances.

*6. With all song "auras" (that cylinder that appears when you play a song), texture doesn't display right.

Any ideas for the following issues, so that they are fixed just like in D3D 7? By the way, this is a laptop I'm using, so it's hard to update drivers.

Well, not really possible. It is after all a laptop.

Okay, just finished testing a tad bit of Direct3D 7, looks like the issues I mentioned are solved except for the ice problem. Direct3D 7 though has blending issues (sword doesn't have right color), and using the "switch if invalid blending" will fix it at the cost of speed.

Oh yeah, screen transitions (circular motions, etc. not fade-ins and outs) don't work here either. D3D 6 gets it right, though. It's a sort of a mixed bag with both plugins...wish both would be merged or something...^_^;;
