problems emulating Ocarina of Time

Hello, I am very new in this. I used proyect64 with jabo's plugins (that includes in their version 1.5) and using the game "Zelda" the fairy NAVI appears as a WHITE SQUARE WITH WINGS
does somebody know that it happens me?
Thank you.

Grias di Herbert!!!

Maybe it's your grafic card. This glitch appears often with onboard cards. Use a Geforce or Radeon...

Update your graphics card drivers or buy a GeforceFX

I insist you use Glide64(+eVoodoo), it may solve your problem, it may not.

Wait a moment Herbert! You have a AMD XP(!!!) with only 1,14 Ghz? The smallest XP is a 1400xp with 1,33 Ghz...

Well, now that I see it... seems that it is not XP...

... anyway the others plug-ins (Glide64, Tr64) make very slow the game, on the other hand with Jabo's 1.5 the speed is in REAL TIME
.. so I will have to conform me with this... although NAVI is a damned square...

Thank you

Hebert

Ok....Here we go!
You can disable the wihte block that is around Navi....
Baut you'll have to get the Jabo's plugin Jabo Direct3D7 1.40. You can get it using the Project64 1.3 and i think it isn't in the version 1.4 neither 1.5. When you get the plugin, put it int the folder named Plugins. Open the emulador (1964, pj64) and change the pluigin to Jabo. Go to Video Settings and go to Emulation. Enable to following options:

Enable Fog
X Enable Display List Culling
X Change Blending Mode if Invalid for Video Card
X Always use texture Filtering for rendering

You can enable Fog if you want.
The begin the game. You'll see that Navi came to normal.

Good Luck... post here!

Sadly no.

However, you can effectively run a game as the N64 would run it by setting all the filtering and texture reading to 'automatic'. Turn the rez down, and you have the 'special FX' that the real N64 gives you (I.E. really garbage looking picture with spiky textures)

Dont mean to be rude, but the authors have asked not to distribute the plugins on their own. Please Get the plugins along with PJ64 at the Download Section of NGEmu
