Ocarina of time - good. Majora's mask - bad. Why?

Hi!
I just played through the entire Zelda - Ocarina of time game and it worked flawlessly. Sound was perfect and everything was smooth sailing. Now I finally loaded Zelda - Majora's mask and for some reason, the sound is a bit choppy at times. I'm using Jabo's latest plugins for sound and graphics. What could be the problem?

MM generally runs slower altogether. It's a newer N64 game, so it takes more to run it. Depends on your cpu/vid card, really.

Well, I've also played both Zelda OoT and MM, I must agree that OoT is more perfect in gameplay, sound and emulation. However, MM needs an expansion pack to play, therefore it is slower compared to OoT. That doesn't mean MM is not good, it has many memorable moments, especially the dog race, woof woof!!!

Try using Azimer's audio 0.40, I find that it works much more cleanly on a wider range of games than Jabo's Directsound Plugin. I use it For Zelda:MM and sound is flawless

I tried every plugin... But Jabo's had the least hicups, so I'll stick with him. Thanks!

You can find most articles about it at the offical PJ64 forums. Just you may want to do a seach, it'll be a lot easier than waiting for replies.
