Project 64 1.4 ...1.5 ...

hi there!
A friend of mine has a system with AMD Athlon 1,4 ghz 256 MB RAM and a Voodoo 3.
Last time we played Super Mario Kart 64 on P64 1.4 and besides the little mistakes in gfx(voodoo plugs...) the game runs just fine.

Now he updated his system und added a GF4 TI 4200 and try to run Super Mario Kart64 on Version 1.5
The gfx are Great! but ... when youre playing while recieving or short before a box. The emu just stops for 1 or 2 secs ??
Then i´ve tried it an a other friends system he has an AMD 1,7 Ghz 256 MB RAM and a Radeon 9000.
Again the version 1.5 here the graphics show some glitches...but not that bad. But when starting the game the same error occurred! the lagging while playing is ****ty...
When i switched back to P64 Verison 1.4 every thing runs just fine, but on the 1,7 Ghz system O_O there seemes to be an FPS limlt problem. the games runs way tOO FAST.

No my questions:
How can i fix these problems?
-> the "lagg" in version 1.5 (which got right FPS limit)
-> set FPS limit in Version 1.4

Lokking for your answers ^^
another thing i know i shouldn´t ask but there the game Starwars racer 64 i´ve played it on N64.

-> exists a working Rom for that game?
-> can i play it already on Projet 64 ??

The "lag" problem is an issue in the 1.5 video plugin. For games that are effected, just use the 1.4 plugin with PJ64 1.5

You might want to try Jabo's DX6 D3D with the Radeon 9000 as for Star wars Episode 1 Racer, it works just fine, great graphics for most of the game and good speed. but i cant say were to get roms... forums rules

The FPS limit is a core option, bound to the F4 key.
