Problem of language with Zelda OOT

Hi.

I am quite very young in emulation world (sorry for my bad english),
and after two days of testing, i found that PJ64 was the best emulator i have to use with my PC.

But i have a question, and i spent several hours on the web without finding a good answer to it.

How can't i play to Zelda OOT with PJ64 in the french language. I try the Pal version of the rom but the game is still in english.

Do i have to change something like a region code in PJ64 config ?

I know that ULtraHLE support OOT in french, and i wonder if PJ64 support it also. I think so, and i hope so.

Thanks for this good emulation forum.

Erm...try getting the French PAL version? Remember, just because it's PAL doesn't mean it's French. PAL could mean British, Spanish, or a number of other countries. You can't get an English version of the game to spit out French when it can't do that. The opposite is also true (French game can't spit out English). An emulator isn't going to stick to a different language than the game provides.

Oki...

Thank for your quick response.

But that means that the language is IN the rom, and that the pal version do not contains all the Pal languages and the country code is to set in PJ64 ?

If so, UltraHLE only play Zelda OOT in french with the french version of the rom and not with the Pal version.

I've heard about Patch languages to vhange the language of A rom. Did you hear about that ?
