Is anyone else having PJ64 sound problems?

I was just wondering if it was just me, or if anyone else was having problems getting the sound on PJ64 running properly. I have tried pretty much every plugin and buffer levels for each. I keep getting that annoying skipping thing that sounds like a scratchy cd. The sound on 1964 seems way better, at least for me, but unfortunately is quite glitchy when it comes to the graphics.(even with the 0.8.5beta) If I sync the game with the sound the speed suffers quite a bit,(although the sound is pretty much perfect). I can hardly wait for some more 1964 updates!
Well, hows the sound on PJ64 for everybody else? Got any tips?

Sound eats up a lot of CPU cycles. If your system isn't up to the task, as evident by your slow-down when using sync, it's recommended that you use an HLE audio plugin. That's means choosing one of Azimer's plugins and selecting "Send audio lists to audio plugin" in the RSP options. That should speed things up a bit.

No actually my sound works just fine even though I have quite a few games that I have yet to play the ones I do play often give me no problems what so ever maybe it's the sound card you have or something of the sort.
