N64 Rom Size

I'm knew to this so I have no idea what I'm doing but...

How big should a N64 rom be? Pokemon stadium is only like 50mb, is that right?

512/8... equals.... 64*8.... equals.... Damn I hate mental arithmetic, and this PC doesn't have a calculator, or a C++ compiler.

At any rate, the biggest N64 game was Resident Evil 2, weighing in at 512Mb. That's (512/8)MB. You do the math.

i hate it how there is such a thing as a bit and a byte. whoever thought of bytes needs to get shot or something.

8 bits = 1 byte

reminds me of how i hate farenhiet, and the US system of measurement. i prefer metric and celsius, its easier, and makes alot more sense

512 = 2^9
8 = 2^3

512/8 = (2^9)/(2^3) = 2^6 = 64MB.

Believe it or not, that's the first way that came to my mind to do calculate this.

Why are you all telling about the rom sizes it's just a calculation that doesn't have anything to do with general emulation information.... there's nothing great in calculating there sizes....:o

Mario party is not 512mbit. It's 256mbit like the two zelda games. Only 512mbit games are CBFD, and RE2.

God, people on this board are getting lamer, and lamer, and lamer.
