Daedalus D3D plugin; is it compatible with PJ64?
I downloaded this plugin fromt he Daedalus website as it had been mentioned as being on of the better plugins, however, I can't seem to get it to work with PJ64
![]() It keeps complaining that it's "Unable to load IniFile from disk" and I can't access any of the settings, so I've had to go back to the default Jabo's plugin which came with the emulator. Still, I'd just like to see what this new plugin is capable of.... |

I think that you were looking for the unofficial Daedalus plugin. You can find it at http://www.emulation64.com The official one is still WIP, the only real good thing it has compared to others plugins is that it can display the text in Super Mario 64 (e).
For the ini file, you must download daedalus, and copy daedalus.ini to the main PJ64 directory (or one directory 'above' your plugin directory, if you don't use the standard plugin folder). |

Right, installed the unofficial plugin plus the .ini from the Daedalus site, started PJ64.... and pretty much mostly get a blank screen. The most successful game I've tried it with so far is F-Zero X, where I get messed up menus and I can at least see the cars on the select screen, but they have messed-up textures, and when the game starts I get a black screen with the game's sound playing in the background >_<
I'm using a GeForce3 Ti, if that helps... |
